I don't agree with you.  I think if es is as its name suggests `extensible',
then you should be able to make it look like csh/bash/zsh etc if you like
;-).  Personally speaking, having the option to do so would be great.

Whilst we're at it, as we're going to get %home, why not got the whole way
and have %glob ?  I suppose it's to do with the gc being disabled during
globbing.  But I'm sure if I wish hard enough :-).
