Last minute problem: Is it me, or is it my C?

Anyone using SPARCompiler to build es?

I'm trying to get the latest `es' to compile with SunC 2.0.1.
Obviously, I'm having a problem or two, or I wouldn't be bothering
you all.

If someone has built es0.82 [preferably "out of the box"] using SunC,
could said person kindly relay me a note saying so, and reassure me
that I'm messing up? [punish me, please :-)]

A admit that SunC is new to me, and I would prefer to beat on it
for a few days, but *just in case* it isn't me, I was hoping to
lend a hand in nipping a potential "portability problem" before
es breaks into the world at large. It's probably me though...

The problems:
One minor quibble from the compiler involved a redeclaration
of "strdup" [which I snipped out as an expediency], but yacc barfs
completely on parse.y. (syntax error on line 28)

Thanks for the help (and the patience),

Steve

P.S.

I do have a log of the compile session, if anyone thinks it's of value.
