I managed to get es built on a dynix system. I had to dig up versions of getopt and strtol. I linked it with readline (Chet Ramey's version from bash), but, inside an xterm, it echoes everything I type. I suspect Dynix Brain Damage, but advice is sought. Gack, what an ancient OS... Thanks, Arnold
