I've been reading through the archives of this mailing list and am
amazed and delighted with the cool things people can do with es. I'm
looking for an elegant way to do:
cmd1 args | cmd2 args | cmd3 'stderr of cmd1' args
where "stderr of cmd1" in the above stands for (you guessed it) the
standard error of cmd1.
I haven't been able to do it without explicitly creating a temp file,
nor have I been able to come up with a good argument that it can't be
done. I admit I'm not very expert at tossing file descriptors around.
Any bright ideas?
