The next thing to come out will be an incremental release fixing the
major and easy problems discussed on this list over the last year and a
half.

Included in that category is some of the top-level evaluation stuff
related to what you want to do.  We should discuss what startup of the
shell means and how it's done at one point soon.

(Having said that, I should mention that I'll be checking mail only
sporadically for the next week.)
